What it takes to make a homemade rag quilt
1. I like to use 100% cotton fabrics on the front, but I do occasionally incorporate flannel as well.
2. The back of each quilt is always made with soft cozy flannel, unless specified otherwise.
3. I use flannel in between each quilt block. It adds warmth and helps making the ragging ends appear more fluffy.
4. I wash and dry each rag quilt to help start the ragging process.
5. I leave the ragging ends extra long so that the ragging part is super fluffy.
